I've been dying to know about this too. Where's Joojaa?
He's always got some ideas on how things should be done.
It seems like it is not impossible, and one would think that doing something dynamic with rigid bodies and real gravity would be beneficial. I'm a total beginner with MEL though so I would have no clue as to how to accomplish something like this. I'm sure I could make a decent rig using joints and simple constraints, but I'm also sure I'd have no to keyframe the hell out of it to get it to look real.
ya know the carSim version 1.0 mel on this site is decent for ground detection and gamepad control, but it misses things like independent wheel movement / shocks.
Anyone a MEL junkie with some free time?
Or does someone know of a post or tutorial?
