Car wheels and motion blur

i am trying to 3d motion blur my car rotating wheels, but they are appearing transparent at their boudries.
any clew on how to fix this:

setting the time steps to 5 did improve the situation but, besides the rotation movement there is a translation movement, basicly its a camera following a car wheel, and thats why i am having transoarancy in all directions.

I wont open maya binary files even if you paid me. Allways send ascii files! I can send a maya binary file for you to open. I wouldnt suggest you do offcourse. I mean you can payload a binary file woth whatever you want... and i dont want that. Since im pretty much allways on call it makes me  a easy target for such attacks.*

See it shrinks because the motion blur is linear in nature. its very easy to show with any cylinder. However it does not work in emptiness.

If you increase motion steps it takes more linear steps so the wheel shrinks less.

increasing motion steps to 5 and even 10 didnt solve the problem.

i didnt say anything about the range. if your wheel rotates 10 times during the frame then you probably need a lot more than the max 15 steps allowed by the gui. so you dont do helicopter blades with motion blur effectively  thats fir sure

my wheels had subbtle noise movements in the Y direction, very weak even unnoticebale in the playblast even with that the wheel was motion blur alot in the Y direction. So just deleting this noise in the Y direction fixed the problem.
problem solved but it doesnt make sense to me, why should sush a weak movement affect motion blur that much.

Temporal aliasing. See the noise is different for each and every step, this may cause a lot of rpblems to the integration fo the data, so your results can be all over the place. Noise can offcourse result in any movement you could possibly concieve.

Something thet could help is to let the time of your noise be stepped then you would have noise movement BUT it wouldnt affect all the interpolation steps so say it only moves with noise at start of frame and at mid of frame.

Actually i even deleted all noise and motion in the Y direction but MR is still motion blurring my wheel in the Y direction (as if the wheel is displaced in the Y direction). You can clearly see this in the .ma scene and the illustration

take frame 300 for exemple, you can clearly see the problem : the wheel isnt moving in the Y direction neither befor the frame 300 neither after it.

*this issue is MR specific, when i rendered with the maya software, it rendered fine with no displace in the Y direction.
