To take a blend shape animation, copy the geometry, and adjust the timing of the animation on the duplicate, follow these steps:
Duplicate the original geometry with the blend shape animation by selecting the object in the outliner and pressing "Ctrl + D" on your keyboard.
With the duplicate geometry selected, go to the "Deform" menu in the attribute editor, and click on the "Edit Blend Shape" option.
In the Blend Shape Editor window, click on the "Add" button to create a new blend shape target.
Rename the new blend shape target and adjust the weight value to 1.
With the new blend shape target selected, go to the "Target" section and click on the "Duplicate Selected Targets" button.
Rename the duplicated target and adjust the weight value to 0.
Now, select the duplicated blend shape target and adjust the timing of the animation by selecting the keyframes in the timeline and moving them to the desired position.
You can also adjust the shape of the duplicated blend shape target by selecting the vertices in the viewport and moving them to the desired position.
Once you have made the necessary adjustments, you can delete the original blend shape target and rename the duplicate blend shape target to the original name to replace it.
Finally, play the animation to see the changes you have made to the duplicate blend shape target.
By following these steps, you should be able to take a blend shape animation, copy the geometry, and adjust the timing of the animation on the duplicate blend shape target.
