Changing The Position Of A Center Point

Hi all,

I am running Maya on a Macbook Pro, and I am pretty new to both the Mac, and Maya. I am trying to change the pivot point on a group of objects, and when I looked it up in the manual on how to do it, I found that I need to hit the insert key to put the pivot point into edit mode. The problem is that either my mac doesn't have an insert key because its a laptop, or I cant figure out what the alt for it is. Any ideas? Is there another way to move a pivot to a specific place?
