i have a project where i want to use the animation i did from one character to another.basically its the same character referenced from another scene.
they are rigged with fullbody ik so the character set consists of the default subcharacter parts for both characters.i tried to export one clip and re import it to the other character but i was getting a collapsed skeleton.
i read at the manual that there is a character remmaper that i should use to map one character to the other.but even when i map it i still not get animation transfered correctly.
i shouldn
t even had to remap cause it`s the exact same default rig.but....!!!
you can reproduce it if you build 2 fbik skeletons.animate one and create a clip and then try to import this clip to the other character.any solutions except dont use fbik or don
