Cinemascope rendering

I would like to render in cinemascope format. Does anyone know whether to adjust the Render Globals or the camera itself? What are the parameters?

the output format of cinemascope is 720x329 and is to be controlled from the render globals. (this is the format of super16 mm).

Most 35mm projections in the US are in the 1.85 aspect ratio, while some international projections are in 1.66. The "Film Gate" attr of your perspective camera has a pull down menu of some common preset cameras, one of which is 35mm 1.85 projection. A 4k (roughly) equivalent of that aspect ratio comes out to 3656x1976, 2k is 1828x988 and 1k at 914x494. Also, make sure to render with "Ignore Film Gate" unchecked.
