Cloth Error: Step size is greater than frame size.

new scene. box, 1 'tablecloth'. simulation runs just fine, it drapes over the box, etc. playback through timeline doesnt work at all, it glides right through. and i get that error:

Error: Step size is greater than frame size.

i've adjusted collision offset/depth to no avail... or so i feel.

where am i losing touch with computer savvy? why god why.

don't quote me on this one but you might want to check the cloth solver that is connected to the table cloth. collision offset and depth just control how the collision object strives to repel the cloth object. I believe in the solver attributes you should find the step size and frame size attributes. You should then be able to adjust the step size and frame size.
