Cloth object dissapears upon creation?

ok here's another one...
When creating a cloth object sometime the geometry will dissapear. The newly created cloth object appear to exist as it is selected in the channel box, and in the hypergraph as well. However, I can not see it in the GUI.

Also if I frame it (f) in the GIU it focuses in on the transform handles, rather then where the cloth would be. (not sure if that is significant)

Ideas?

Ha, funny how it works that way, you have a problem for a while, can't figure it out, then you post it, then five mintues later you figure it out.

If anyone has the same problem it seem to be cause by having the solver disbaled when creating the cloth object. Silly eh?
