Cloth simulation (2)

I made a walking character with the lower part of the pants driven by cloth simulation. Unfortunately the collision of the local cluster doesn't work properly, and cloth penetrates slightly the shoes even if I set "accurate collision" on and a low push lenght (and of course the shoes as deformable obstacles and actual shape on). I raised iterations per frame from 5 to 15 but I didn't notice any significant change, except in computation time. Does anyone know how to make cloth collisions work?

Try using Syflex plugin instead (included in XSI) the documentation is in the install folder > Doc > Syflex

It is a far better cloth simulation, and has higher computation.

Check out Digital Tutors 'Syflex for MAYA' to get a good idea of the scale and use, most of the video tutorials apply to XSI too.
