Hello, i am trying to simulate some cloth in 3DsMax on a poser model.
I made it to import the model with riging from Poser through DAZ|Studio into 3DsMax, via the Collada Plugin.
Worked fine.
Now I built a deform driver objekt, skin-wraped to the original poser 90.000 poly charakter, so i could hide the highpoly charakter. The cloth/shorts themself i skined to the HIP of the original charakter. Afterwards I put a cloth modifier on to the deform-driver (collision) and the shorts (polyester).
In my little-tiny-world, the cloth simulation should run fine now. Driven by the orginal Charakter, the Driver should be deformed (via Skin Wrap)and should affect the cloth ... but it always crashes. Better said, it starts calculating some seconds but then it stucks and nothing happends anymore...
Any good advise on that one? Or has anybody had some experience with something like that?
