Clusters not working with lattice deformers

Hi,

Need help with this...

First, I make some clusters on a poly object and animate the clusters. Then put a lattice deformer on the poly object and deform that. The poly object deforms and retains the animation from the clusters, but the clusters have not moved.

I need those clusters to be in the correct space in relation to the lattice deformed poly, or to be able to make new clusters on the poly object. However, when I create new clusters on the poly, they do not move.

Any advice much appreciated!

Hi,
don`t know if I understand you right, but:
always make the cluster a child of the object or another deformer and turn "relative" on in the attr.editor...

I think you want anim poly with cluster and deformer,I have same truble before you,you can right click on the poly and select input list then display window that show the current object order in the list.on the top is object's primery deform order and if you want cluster affect poly,you must keep cluster on the top,if you want deformer affect poly,you must keep deformer on the top.I have no idea with cluster and deformer all affect poly,I think you can use some clusters to affect one poly instead deformer's anim.

I have just solved this truble and you too,first creat cluster with advancedeformation orderparrallel,then lattice with same step,now you can move cluster to affect poly and lattice so on.you can see two weight node in the channel box,one is cluster another is lattice.
