Comparing Images

Hello everyone,

is there in Shake an alternative way to compare images a part from the comparing mode option?

I know this question might sounds stupid, but apparently in some company home softwares there is a way of comparing for example two different value of a blur within the same node for two different frames. Is there a similar option in Shake as well?

I just copy and past a node, and adjust the copied node a little bit, then switch between buffer A and B using the 1 & 2 keys to compare effect... usually works out fine for me...

Does that answer your question or.. am I way off?
