Complex Rig Removal In Shake

Hi. I'm looking for advice or a tutorial on a rig removal in shake where the rig has alot of different movement in it. The best example I can think of is the Face Crack tutorial here:

but I need some advice if the rig is moving alot as I cannot match the background image very accuratly with all the moving.

You just have to do a lot of warping of the BG. I will make multiple clean plates and morph between them. Do a 4 point track on the bg and then use a stabilize node to move the BG. This will give rotation and scale of the BG.

however, sometimes it's best to break up the rig into various planes.

i.e. there's a background building, treat that as a plane clear it off. a wall might be another plane and the grips elbow yet another. cut it up into smaller pieces you can often replace smaller sections as opposed to trying to replace one big one.
