That's the one I found, but unfortunately it doesn't show up errors made in an expression. I guess it simply doesn't treat it as an error, it just doesn't evaluate.

the shell that you start Nuke from (on linux) will become a tcl console that also spits out the feedback you're after.
On windows, there shuld be a DOS console that comes up as with Nuke. You won't be able to write in that one but it will still give you feedback / error messages. Just have a peak under your Nuke window and you should find it.
