Conforming a road to terrain

I would like to create a road on a hilly terrain. I know of a few ways of creating the roads, but the problem is no matter which method that I know of will create lopsided roads where the left and right sides of the road points are not equal in height. Does anyone have an idea on how to resolve this problem?

So I have givin this a few days to allow others have some time to post a reply, but I am assuming that no one really knows a solution. Meanwhile, I did come up with an idea of using the "polygon project curve tool". Therefore I am ending this thread and moving on to my Mel question to this topic.
