Control By Ik Spline And Ik Handle

hello

how I can rigging this objects it's speaker with wire I want to control animation by double control one speaker can move any where and the wire attached to my animation and in anther way wire will move and take the speaker follow the wire?

I.e. i have ik control in speaker?

How can I control this Joints ?

if we have 10 joints

I want to make from (1 to 8) ik spline handle control and all joint (all 10) controled by Ik handle normaly..

cause from 1 to 8 I want it spline control and then normale contral by ik handle.

how can control spline Ik Handle with fixed space bettwen CV curve?

I have object joint with wire I want control my animtion by end wire and main object in same time?

Hi,

I think you might want to treat the cord like a tail. As for the control of the cv's I would create clusters on the cv's, then control handles for each cv so it's easier to animate. After that group all of your control handles or parent them to another control object. After that go back and limit the translate that runs parallel to the joint chain or lock it.

But do you think that this solution can tail will pull the body or body pull the tail?

I am try to make spline ik in tail and make full ik to all system (tail and body) but I lose control in full ik system when I use CV point control.

I worked it over in maya a little. I don't know if is will work for you but I might send you in the right direction. First, decide if you want to use auto parent on the spline IK. It seems like it might help.(it's one of the settings of the tools.) I you do I think that it will solve most of you problems. If you choose not make sure that the last two cv's of your chain are under one cluster. Move the pivot point to the base of the chain. Then take your control handle and make sure it's pivot point is at the base of the chain. Have your Ctrl OBj put a Parent constraint on the cluster and the last joint of the tail. Then lock and hide the scale and translate attributes. You only want to rotate the base of the tail cause translateing is will muck you everything. If you use the auto parent on the spline ik instead of using a parent contraint try an orient constraint or just go into your connection editor and hook it up.

(ps. Make sure that the beginning joint of the tail parented to you root joint it's like setting up an arm but it comes out of the ass.)
