the above is a sample code using Scrole Layout
in this code i can't set the Width and height of that scroll layout
can any one point me to set it with some samples.

because the scroll layout is a child of the rowColumnLayout it will always be restricted to the size of the rowColumnLayout.

you need to do this:

rowColumnLayout -numberOfColumns 3 -cw 1 200 -h 50;
