Is there a function in Combustion to convert an object's position in world space (x,y,z) to it's equivalent in layer space (x,y)? I believe After Effects has a fromWorld() function you can access through expressions to do the job.
The reason I ask is I've imported camera and object positions in 3d space from Maya into Combustion and I want to create a lens flare in Combustion and track it to the position of one of the nulls. The null has a 3d coordinate in x,y,z and the Lens Flare operator wants a 2d equivalent(x,y).
I was wondering if Combustion has a built in formula to convert this in an expression? Alternatively, anyone have the formula to do this job?
