Copy Paste Keyframes

Hey guys-

Does anyone know exactly how the copy and paste keyframes tool works in the graph-ed. We are having issues here. Sometimes it works fine, others the rig explodes. We noticed that if you close the graph-ed and reopen it everything works fine. Seems kinda shotty. I was wondering if someone had a solution for this issue. I would like to avoid any non-linear character definitions as they cause more problems than they are worth. Possible a mel script that allows one to take the values from one keyframe on all selected objects, and then moves, rotates, setsAttr, respectively those objects to the desired keyframe. Let me know if there is any interest in something like this.

you copying mutiple frames? (adn your copy settings are resetted wich is none of the opriions in copys options)

I had a simalir problem with previous versions of Maya files open in 7. Maya Support suggested deleting the whole preferences folder and restart, that seems to have cleared up the odd copy paste behavior...

A little side note--i have had no problems working in the Dope sheet when copying and pasting keys...that is the only place that seems to work without fail...would that work for you or do u need to specifically work in the graph editor?

No you dont. But the graph editor works just as long as you reset the copy settinbgs thsi swithces you bvack to the 6.0 6.5 behaivour. To do this choose copy[optionbox}->edit-> reset settings (wich is way noicer than trying to delete prefs). I suggest you do thei even if you dont want to use grap editor because soomer or later this gui designers MAJOR blooper is going to make your life horrible.

Thing is the GUI for options is broken and thius whatever you select from the window just screws up anything you might ever whant to do!

Worst is you dont see any difference when resetting settings but the difference to what happens is HUGE!
