Copy skeleton to skeleton

Does anyone know of a way to copy all of the attributes (keyed or not) from one skeleton, to another duplicate skeleton.

For example, say I have one skeleton (main). From the main, I created a duplicate skeleton(dup) so that I could modify the dup rather than the main. Id like to copy the translations and rotations from the dup over to the main. Anyone know how?

Translations and rotations are controlled by anim curves. You could use the Hypergraph to manually connect those anim curves up to the duped skeleton if you want.

select the Anim skeleton at its root-
then select all the Trans and Rotation channels in the Channel Box-
Click/ Edit/ Keys/ Copy Keys Option Box-
Click/ Below/ From Channel Box/ Start To End-
Now select the Bind skeleton at its root-
then select all the Trans and Rotation channels in the Channel Box-
Click/ Edit/ Keys/ Paste Keys Option Box-
Click/ Clip Board/ Preserve/ Replace/ Entire Curve-

I appreciate all of the feedback that Im getting --really I do. However, your all missing half of the point. You've covered how I would copy from the main to the dup using keys, but nobody has commented on how I would do it if there were no keys, which is my real dilema.

My dup, has no keys --nor will it ever! Its solely there to act as a puppet. I move the dup into place --so as not to disturb the main-- and when I have the position that I want, Id like to copy all of the bone positions from the dup, over to the main. Currently, its a manual process --one bone at a time. Im sure that there is a script somewhere that copies transformations from one object to another. Any ideas?

connect all the necessary bones channels together in the Connection Editor(this will need to be done bone by bone) While you are doing this compile all the actions into a script. Run script when you need to do it again....el diablo

Sorry, guess I didn't read carefully enough.

Uh... why are you using this method? Surely there are better ways? Why don't you want to 'disturb the main,' and how does posing it 'disturb' it?

I'm thinking a better workflow might involve toggling some nodes to 'HasNoEffect', or maybe putting some poses in the Visor, or something... but of course I don't know precisely what you're doing.
