Corel shape (.AI, .EPS, .CDR) into Maya?

How do I import a CorelDraw shape (I can export it as a .WMF, .AI, .EPS, .CDR) into Maya?
Ive tryed to convert the .AI file into a DXF but I canot work with the shape alone to extrud it in Maya.

you need to import .AI files with the Invigorator program - its on your CD but you install it separately.
