I work for a shop that restores films. we receive 2k & 4k scans of everything from shrunken nitrate to torn 35mm. The biggest challenge I have is stabilizing the frames so I can make the repairs. I need to know if there is a way to conform the border of each image to a master shape to correct the geometric distortion that occurs from tears and shrinkage.
