How much of a difference is there between a regular Corsair memory and a Corsair XMS2 Xtreme Memory w/ Heat Spreader? Is there a noticeable speed difference?

if the spec is the same. it is the same memory. heat sink just helps with dissipating heat, that's all.
even if it is a higher spec memory, if your mb can not take advantage (take a look at your mb manual), there is also no improvement in speed.
