Thanks!.
Almost done with crunch time at my day job, so Ill be cleaning up my source and posting this soonish (month or so).
After I do this, I have a couple of ideas of what to port.
First up will be a pixel level deflicker filter from Pravin Bhat. This will entail porting an optical flow algorithm (which will be seperated out as a node) and implementing Pravin's paper (with his help).
Oh. Then the SIOX algo. http://www.siox.org/ This should hopefully get some nice graph-cut source ported to shake, which a lot of the newer siggraph papers use for lots of neat things.
Then if some others join in (hint
We can get some more cutting edge stuff released for free for the benefit of the shake community. Tons of neat siggraph papers running around with lots of new stuff[1]
Or let the foundry buy up all the neat new tech.
Great stuff there, just a bit more than I can pay at the moment.
[1] http://trowley.org/ has most of the papers that are in the various conferences.
This (http://people.csail.mit.edu/soonmin/photolook/) looks pretty neat too.
