Crashes when rendering anyting

I had to rebuild my system a little wile ago. After I rebuilt it, I'm now haveing some serious stability problems when rendering. No matter what I try to render, It crashed after finsihing the 1st frame. It even crashed when I render just a cube! Seriously! I've never had this problem before, and I don't know why its happening. I think that it is a problem with my setup, and not the models that I'm rendering, since everything crashes. I think that it could be something with saveing the files, but I don't really know. I'm running XSI 1.5 on Windows NT 4.0 sp4.

try to use ray3.exe instead of xsi -r,this should be more
stable and reliable than latter
if there is still problem,I think it is not the fault of xsi
