Hi, i was wondering if anyone could answer this question for me. I am using maya 7 and was wondering if there was a way to use only one texture map for the low, medium, and high res models. The way my supervisor was thinking we could do this was to map the low poly UVs, map the medium poly to match the outline of those UVs, and do the same with the high poly, then possibly using just one texture that fit all the models. However, the process of making the more detailed UV sets match the low poly UV set is very time consuming, so i was hoping that someone knew of a different, better way of doing this. Please let me know, as this would be much appreciated. Thanks.
