Here is an .exe file of a movie of my monkey. It has been conpressed by radtools. Great compresser. I am just looking for some feedback on the head that i have done on my monkey. It is really called a golden tamarin. Just picture it with a bunch of hair on its head. here is the link
geez, i would think that people that go to this site would know about highend programs like bink at radtools. If you have ever used it or seen it then you wouldn't have a problem. Go to radtools.com and see for yourself. The avi is really 32mb, would you rather D/L that? I didn't think so. I used bink so I could get a good big quality at a low file size. Besides, I am registered at Highend. Do you think I am dumb enough to put a virus with an .exe file. Gee hmmm, will I get in trouble and kicked off this page, why yes I think I would. Think about it. You are too paranoid. Go to radtools.com and use the program yourself. All I want are critiques for the model and I wanted everybody to see a large view of it. sorry, if you don't want to critique, then don't comment, thank you
Life is like a midget at a urinal... You are always reaching for the top.
no need to get persnickity fella, i wasn't being overly paranoid, just offering advice .. and had you taken it, then you wouldnt have eight or so replies saying how silly posting an exe was..... i would guess that a large percentage of highends users have a high bandwidth connection available to them in one way or another, either at home , work, or school .. And how long is it? 32 megs ? try quicktime w/ sorenson , if you are so worried about image quality , its a compromise on both ends size and quality ,
i feel like i speak for the majority when i say that i would be glad to offer my 2 cents worth if you were to post it in a non-exe format...... hell , maybe i am wrong... just watchin my a$$ thats all ... so relax man , and dont get peeved everytime someone offers an opinion ..
get hip and use the divx codec next time. Avoiding .exe from strangers is just plain common sense. Plenty of crap get's passed on to others who haven't a clue that they've done so. And no, haven't heard of bink and plan now to never use it if offered especially now knowing it spits out a .exe as it's output.
I am afraid that I would have to say that the texturing would have to make this model work. It looks too much like clay that hasn't gone all of the way yet - good start though - and you I would have prefered a lomer res movie to download. You wanted to keep quality but you were using a playblast as a source. Also I could not scrub at all which was realy anoying because I could not pause it and realy crit the thing.
