cutPlaneCenter not working

polyCut -cd "X" -pc 0 0 0;

Why doesn't it work? My first attempt at MEL and I'm already having problems. It's acting like it's completely ignoring it. I've tried to get it to work in Python and PyMEL as well with no luck. I've tried the -pcx 0 -pcy 0 -pcz 0 also.

I really hope someone can end my frustration with this.

Dont double post.

You can not use -cd in conjunction with -pc. Reason is that -cd SPECIEFIES in the reference that its "cutting through the center of the bounding box". Use:

polyCut -ro 270 0 0 -pc 0 0 0;

Yeah that makes sense. If only I would have thought about it more or read the docs more closely. Sorry. I will next time.
