I've been using the Gnomon Organic Modeling DVDs as a guide to work on my first Nurbs head. Its very helpful but something is confusing me. I understand that I should keep my parameterization at 0 to #of spans in order to create a clean patch network later. In the dvd, the instructor creates his curves, closes them and they maintain 0 to #of spans. I'm seeing that my curves that don't get closes maintain this, but not the ones I close. For instance, the curves I made for my eyeloft are 0 to number of spans, until I close them. Then the min/max range is 0 to 10.15 while there are 13 spans.
Thanks for any help. I think I'm following the instructions closely so I assume I have something set incorrectly.
