Haven't posted for a while so here is what i've been working on of late
Cyborg type female, game character - critiques or ideas welcome...
Wierd shading - I got a little crazy with the shading on this character - I used an hdr map and ramp maps to create the odd florescent type liquid effect on her armor and just a ramp on her skin texture to make it look kindof glowy.
Meanwhile is anybody else having issues with max 9 exporting as 3ds? No matter where I export it to zbrush, maya, any game engine everything is completely out of alignment. Everything is rotated and moved around...weird stuff maybe just a bug.
The orginal concept was to make her really dark...the silver armor image...which wasn't completed because I didn't like it, its not even normal mapped just a smooth to see what it looked like.
