Well there is not that much to criticize here. Its quite simple. However since you are new i think you are mastering the use of basic photoshop functions quite well. Maybe on the left side the white cloud texture is a bit to bright, you could make it more transparent, but thats not that important.
Thanks, I am quite new to photoshop, but this is the start of something else, I am working on a space scene that should take quite a while. I will use maya as well and I am quite experienced in that.
