that would be a problem with the way enum's work in Maya. You will probably need to do a switch() and manually do the text label.
i seem to recall having doe a proc for this in the melforum a loong time ago. That gave neame sto the enum values. its not terribly hard tough tha values are as follows.
ill do quick seratdh to see if i can find it. As it took some while to do.
ok found it needed to fix it a bit to wok with maya 7.0 should now work in all mayas
CODE
// example jooImageFormat "png"
// note layered psd is "psdLayer"
global proc jooImageFormat(string $format){
global string $imgExt[];
global int $imgExtNum[];
int $size=size($imgExt);
int $i=0,$hi=0;
if (gmatch($format,"16")||gmatch($format,"Layer")){
$format=match("...",$format);
$hi=1;
}
while ($i<=$size){
if ($imgExt[$i]==$format) if ($hi!=1) break; else $hi--;
$i++;
}
if ($i>$size) error "no such format";
setAttr defaultRenderGlobals.imageFormat ($imgExtNum[$i]);
// debug print ($i);
}
NOW this does change the format! it just dont reflect it in the renderglobals menu. originaly it waws a snipet to eport the image viewer in specified format but ist been fixed in maya.
i will look into it whan i get the time for example it does not work for mr images...
