In the maya documentation (for 8.5), it claims that tweak nodes can be placed after deformers (although not advisable). However, I cannot figure out how to do this...the documentation doesn't offer any additional information about how to do it.
I'm using lattices to deform two objects and I need to seam up the two objects at a particular location, so my plan is to deformer the object as best I can, and then use the tweak node to get the vertices to line up exactly.
I tried the move component tool, and it is useful, but it creates a new node for each vertex...i'd prefer to keep all the tweaks on a single node, the way a tweak node does.
thanks.
