Delete Camera Image Plane

I made the mistake of putting background images onto my Front, Side, and Top views, and it's so slow I can't take it. How do I get rid of em. I tried deleting the views but won't let me

anyways to delete go to windows/rendering editors/multilister go to cameras, select image plane right click on it and select delete.... try using a regular nurbs planes with images mapped to them this doesn`t slow down at all..... if u have a g-force download patch from highend to enable image planes

Go to component mode, select miscellanious, which is the question mark. Now you can select your background images and delete them.
Hope that's what you were talking about.
