I have a script with a UI using a dockControl 2015 and 2016, and when you run the script, the script shows up pre-docked and buried under tabs on the far right. I would like it to show up on top when you run the script. I know you can use
dockControl -edit -raise $dock;
but for some reason, it only works after the UI has loaded and when I run it from the script editor in maya.
this is roughly what I have now:
dockControl -content $window -area "right" $dock;
dockControl -edit -raise $dock;
If you care to dig more, which would be greatly appreciated, the scripts that have this problem are Mirror Helper and Duplicate Along Path.
