is it with polys or nurbs
is there any tutorial for modeling a cell phone.

...that is a very ambiguous question my friend. It depends what model cell phone you want to make a cg model of, how much detail you want on it, if it needs to animate and in what way and therefore how many seperate surfaces you want to use, and what you personal preference on surface types is. There is no right or wrong or standard method of modelling any specific objects in 3D. Just personal preference. It such an ambiguous question that your essentially asking the question "How do i model in 3D". This is not a question anyone can anser for you in one. Its a books worth of reading I'm afraid. Firstly, check out the tutorials on this website. Secondly, read the maya help docs (html). Thirdly use the maya new users thread here on highend3d. Thats about as helpful as anyone can be answering such a vague question.
