Draw Animation Curves

I played around with the curveGens tool from the download section and I was asking myself if it was possible to draw these animationcurves on my own. I was thinking of using a bezier and convert that to an animation curve. Is there a way to do that ? ? Or how can I draw my own curves?

hm, in theory it should be possible to convert paint strokes into animation curves....
I don't have any time at all right now but remind me in a couple of weeks and I'll give it a go.
