Im trying to develop a driving simulation game - a pretty simple one at that. Only a working clutch and 5-speed gears that runs around an oval track.
Any tips or suggestions that I can use to make this happen?

Auum a cluch only makes sense if you simulate all the other parts aswell
Plan out how fast you want the car to be able to go in each gear then set values for it and tie the animation in with the values; so first gear is has a min/max range then the next gear is triggered when it reaches max along with the animation.
