I just started using Maya and I was wondering how to effectively duplicate and an object and a nonlinear bend deformer (any deformer for that matter) that is currently applied to it? After duplicating, I would like to still be able to alter the newly duplicated bend deformer and have it affect the newly duplicated object. I have tried all the settings in the duplicate options (clicking on 'Duplicate Upstream Graph', 'Duplicate Input Connections', etc) and it just doesn't seem to come out right.
Any ideas?
