So I have a saved/exported clip of a character idling. After importing/loading it onto a character in a new scene I want to keyframe on top of the clip; however Maya is giving me all sorts of problems. Mainly ignoring the keyframes or creating offsets after new keys are set. The maya documents simply say to key on the clip. Maybe I'm not doing it right; but hopefully it's an easy fix.
you enabled the clip in the trax editor for editing? Did you set the options for the clip right?
Just chekking the obvious first as your not really telling anything of use?
I didn't realize I had to enable editing, as the documentation just says to start keying.Where are these options?
