Newbie here, working in maya 4.0
I've created a character with a tail. Used the IK Spline tool on the last six or so joints that make up the tail. Want to weight the spline curve cvs to give wide range of motion to tip of tail and anchor down the base of the tail.
Similar situation in "learning maya, 1.0" book. It says to ad cluster to curve, select the spline curve and open 'windows-general editors-set editor' to assign weights to the cluster cvs.
No such pull down in 4.0
Have dinked with it all day trying to find out which other menu item might help but am not having any luck.
Can anyone help me to weight these cvs?
