Hi Im trying to recreate a video camera effect on my footage but Im not getting anywhere fast any ideas on the best way to go?

I am a little unclear as to WHAT KIND of "video camera effect" that you want to apply . . . For example, do you want:

a) an overlay of a "blinking red lite" and time/date, with a "viewfinder frame" kind-a thing?
"Shakey-cam" like footage, where it looks like it was all shot "hand-held?"
c) or some other "video cam effect" such as ??????
