hi there !
When i am enveloping my objects my nulls won't get enveloped ... what can i do ? i tried constraining ... no way, that stupid null stays where it is.
thx
Pino
you can t envelope a null,( do you know a software were you can???) only geometrie, so if you want your null to follow a bone, you have to make it child of the bone, or constaint it (it should work)
well ok, i parented the null to my bone ... that's ok. But i used to work with soft3.9x and i always had null's in the hirarchy of my objects. as soon as i enveloped my character all of the construction and hyrarchy nulls move with the rest of the character ... so you tell me that in xsi ich put on the envelope and EVERY null of my character stays where it is ????? hmmmm seems strange to me ...
hmmm ..now that i am thinking of it ...i am wrong ..the nulls always stayed where they were .... sorry i was wrong ..forget my question
In a pinch, you could always make each cv point into a cluster and constrain a null to each cluster. This technique worked, even back in SI|3D, only now it's scriptable. =)
