Wondering about using HDR probes for Environment Light Mapping.
I am trying it with a bunch of Debevec's probes (Uffizi, in particular)
When I first map it, it doesn't seem to wrap onto the entire environment light sphere, but rather to repeat twice on the vertical hemispheres.
In mental ray, I recall being able to change the mapping mode from spherical to angular, etc.
What's the proper way to do this in Renderman for Maya?
