Error Reading File!

Hello there guys, this is my first post here and im writing it from Spain. I just registered here because im getting a "//Error: Error reading file" when i try to open one specific file. Many of the object dont show in the views but they are in the outliner.Also, this has appeared in the outliner _UNKNOWN_REF_NODE_fosterParent1. Anyone can help me? Thanks in advance.

your file cant find the references its assuming are on disk, some of the geometries are in theese referenced files.

so what im i suppsosed to do? is the file totally destroyed?

Not necessarily. Which version of Maya are you using? If you're on 8.0, it's possible that you have a node and a namespace with the same name. This is no longer allowed (see the File Referencing limitations section of the release notes). This error message (and the foster parent node) sometimes shows up when that's the case. The solution is to rename either the node or the namespace to something else.
