But it's doing stuff much more than that. For example you CAN create keys over 360 with Euler Filter..and if needed it will "raise" later keys up.
I agree it is fixing "breaks" or technical "discontinuities" but I can't seem to figure out how. Simply making a curve 180 or 181 doesn't neccesarily mean it will do anything. It seems to be related to the other 2 curves as well...ie: it requires XY & Z to work not just one.
If anyone knows of any articles/papers or where in graphics gems etc I might find info on this, I'd appreciate it!
