Export .hrc file (2)

Ok trying this again, I had posted this in the wrong forum once. Can you export an .hrc file out of xsi? I have seen them talk about the format in my books and in the help but all they talk about is the import end of it. I know that polytrans will do the import and export of the file to.

If xsi does do it how is it done.

.hrc is the file format of Softimage|3D, not XSI. Therefore, you will never be able to export the format unless you write an XSI plugin.

If you need to send data back and forth between SI3D and XSI, then you should get familiar with the dotXSI file format. It's a loose template for shuffling data between applications and platforms.
