I have a fairly simple model that I made in maya, I am trying to export the additional detail created in mudbox as a displacement map but mudbux seems to freeze up when it reaches 100% and I have to force quit the application. I have tried exporting displacement maps of other models and primitives without any issues so it must be a problem with my model.
I am a beginner but I have removed as many triangular faces as possible (the model is a spider, there are triangular faces at the tip of each leg forming the cap of the cylinder) and there are no holes in the mesh.
Any ideas why mudbox is struggling with this model would be very helpful!
