I'm more familiar with Maya...but find myself quite impressed with Max right now.
I need to export a Max object through 3DS.
Problem is that the object materials are Multi Sub Object.
3DS isn't exporting all the materials naturally.
So I thought I would Bake the materials on the object, and export the Baked Texture.
Unfortunately, though I seem to be able to export the newly baked texture just fine...I can't seem to export the newly Flattened UVs for the object.
(The baked texture comes out on Channel 3...that mgiht have something to do with it?)
Is there a way to export the UVs used in a baked object?
