Hi,
The flash exporter engine in combustion exports vectors from the paint module. It does not export flash video files.
This is the reason for the export button appearing in the paint settings.
In paint you would create your text shapes and vector shapes and animate them. Everything inside the paint module (that is supported by flash) will be exported.
If you have an image that is being fed into the paint operator as a background , such as a video-clip or workspace etc, it will be ignored and the background in the exported SWF file will be black. This is because the background is bitmap based and not vector based like flash.
You can import the SWF file into flash and add your bitmaps and FLA files into the equasion.
Lastly in combustion's vector paint tools are far more advanced then what is supported in Flash. So remember to turn the "Flash mode" on before making your flash animation. This will temporarily disable tools which will not be carried over in the export therefore you won't be tempted to apply them
In the window menu, you can also apply the flash view mode to your paint project. This is the macromedia flash player and it will show you your SWF project as it will look before exporting to the SWF file.
Hope this helps.
